The project for the site Història en obres [History at work] is born with the aim to compile several researches carried out by the students of the subjects History of Art and Architecture II and III at the Escola Superior Tècnica d'Arquitectura of Barcelona (ETSAB), taught by Professor Fernando Álvarez Prozorovich.

We have gathered here drawings, three-dimensional interpretations, analytical and descriptive texts, and bibliographical references on main works and projects of 20th century architecture.

These three-dimensional models, reduced versions of a work or signs of a detected idea, poetically renew those works as “projects” by retaining their essential values or by pondering on the true materials that compose them. And, as such projects, they reflect the expression of personal glances and sensitivities of diverse student generations of the ETSAB. Within this dialectic, Història en obres reaches all its sense, hoping to encourage others to use and nourish this patrimony that, from now on, is offered to students of architecture and specialists of these disciplines. + info
